History of the house
Hostel Home The building, erected in 1900, was originally local poorhouse for old and "crippled".
Here they received shelter and the farm became their livelihood. Where the poor ion got help on the farm.
Poor farm was in 1954 when it said it was no longer poor families a more traditional homes, and at the municipal merger in 1967, was here rather than hostel.
The basement was an old wood-burning oven for 50 large loaves of bread, DEADHOUSE and dårceller with big chains to lock the ion with. According to a neighbor whose mother told him that in 1912 there came a horse cab with a man with straitjacket that would sleep over in one of dårcellerna for transport to Santa Maria in Helsingborg. If you like to talk with unknown spirits, so are there any old kind souls left.
